Accommodation: Le Méridien Vienna

Accommodation is booked for arrival on Monday 17^th and departure on Thursday 20^th June 2024 and the package is based on twin or double share.

The hotel is adjacent to the State Opera House and Kärntner Strasse shopping street. The spacious rooms boast large flat-screen TVs and luxurious bathrooms. The hotel's spa includes a pool, hot tub, steam bath, sauna, and fitness facilities. The in-house YOU Restaurant & Bar offers handpicked music, a range of cocktails and a menu of light bites. The Hofburg Imperial Palace is a five-minute walk away, with Karlsplatz Underground Station two minutes away for convenient transport. Guests receive free entry to selected attractions.

Golf transfers:

Golf transfers are not included in the package but we will arrange them. The cost will depend on the number of people and the size of the vehicle required.

Airport transfers:  Are not included.

Hotel Parking:  The cost for 24h parking is €39.90.

Buggies, electric trolleys & pull trolleys: 

Buggies & Electric Trolleys are not included.

Buggies & Electric Trolleys are limited in availability at all the courses. If you would like us to book a Buggy or Electric Trolley for you, please let Debbie and Kelly know as soon as possible by email to info@gmmltd.co.uk.

Priority will be given to golfers with a medical condition and then it will be based on a first come, first served.

We cannot guarantee to meet all requests.

Daily Draw:  The draw for the first two rounds will be on the website at least 48 hours before the first round. The draws for the last two rounds will be made in score order.  On Wednesday the leaders will go out first and on Thursday the leaders will go out last.                

Format: The scoring format each day will be individual Stableford with Playing  Handicap 95% of Course Handicap.  All four rounds will count towards the 2024 Order of Merit.

Handicap:  All four rounds will be run under the WHS system but scores will not automatically be forwarded to England Golf.  You MUST return your daily scores to your golf club and the easiest way to do this is to forward the email from Golf Genius, which you will receive after each round and which provides details of your scores.

GAGT Overseas Handicap System (OHA):  Where appropriate handicaps will be adjusted after each round in line with the GAGT OHA system, details of which we can provide.  Any adjustments will not affect your club Handicap Index.

The GAGT OHA system will take precedence over any adjustments made by a player’s home club so that everyone is operating on the same system as some clubs are slow to update overseas scores. 

Range balls:  Included at each course  

Prizes:  There will be prizes for the leading three scores each day.

Prizes will be in the form of vouchers for the 2024/25 Tour as follows:

Daily vouchers: 1^st - £100, 2^nd - £70, 3^rd - £50  Overall vouchers:  1st - £175, 2nd £150, 3rd - £125 

Presentation: Will take place shortly after the last match finishes at Fontana Golf Club on Thursday 20th June 2024.

Evening Socialising:  Experience has shown that most people like to make their own arrangements for evening meals and there are plenty of options within a few minutes stroll of the hotel. We will recommend a restaurant each day and anyone wishing to join us as a group is very welcome.

Travel Insurance:  We consider adequate travel insurance to be essential.  As a condition of entry, you are required to arrange an insurance policy to cover cancellation, accident & medical problems, personal liability, legal expenses, luggage, delays etc.
